Get the Look From Burberry '13

The effortless chic make up look is what we crave. We see beautiful posh women wearing it with dewy skin and flawless application. And then we sit in front of the mirror with our caboodle (yes, I just said caboodle) trying to figure out what products to use to achieve the look. I love this fresh look from Burberry's make up line and best part is we cracked the case which products were used! So, take notes us dolls can be as fierce as the make up Melanie Laurant rocked at London Autumn 2013 show.

Here are the Burberry products you need now!

Burberry Beauty - Sheer Foundation - Luminous Fluid Foundation
Burberry Beauty - Sheer Conceale

Fresh Glow
Sheer Powder - Porcelain No. 01

Top Trends of NYFW Made Easy

The biggest week in fashion has come to a close. New York Fashion Week dazzled the stiletto wearing, ipad photographing, fashionistas that flock to the shows of the designers we envy. There's endless shows on site, off site, live streaming- what is a fashion blogger to do in order to cover them all? Luckily the Lifestyle Editor at Gilt.com, Chassie Post has narrowed down the trends to make it manageable to know what to wear, look out for in 2013. Like Post, I found these trends my top favs among the crowd.

MOSAIC PRINTS:
  • We saw whimsical prints for Spring and are head over heels for the geometric mosaic patterns we are seeing.
  • From J Crew, Derek Lam, Jeremy Scott, Narciso Rodriguez, Cynthia Rowley, Bibhu Mohapatra we've seen this ancient design reworked in bold color for 2013.
  • Be it a sweater., top or full on vest – we can't wait to mix these eye popping prints into ouyr wardrobes.

FIT & FLARE
  • The peplum hasn't gone anywhere and I for one am glad of it.
  • Whereas last season we saw loads of peplum dresses, this season we are seeing lots of fit and flared tops that can be paired with pants or skirts.
  • Separates are the name of the game for Fall and these exaggerated peplums Prabal Gurung,  Zach Posen, Vera Wang, Behnaz Sarafpour, Christian Siriano, Proenza Schouler are an easy and incredibly chic update.

EMBROIDERY:
·         We saw some outrageously beautiful and ornate embroidery come down the runways
·         Gold, silver and jewel embellished ornamentation lent a baroque feel to everything from gowns to capes and dresses pants and even tops.
·         Naeem Khan, Monique Lhuillier, Zac Posen, Prabal Gurung, Oscar de la Renta, Tory Burch

PUMP UP THE VOLUME - OVERSIZED COATS:
  • If you were wondering what coat you would need of Fall take a cue from Alexander Wang, Behnaz Saraphour, Thom Browne, Chado ralph Rucci, DKNY and pump up the volume with an oversized coat.
  • We are loving these architectural outerwear statements that iare characterized by structure.  From the sleeves to the shoulder to the body of the coat, bigger is better this season
