Fashion Radar: Mad about Style

AMC's Mad Men swept the country and has effected fashion since it premiered. The 1960's style that includes skinny ties, pencil skirts and cardigans have made their way to not only the streets but has teamed up for the second year with Banana Republic. "The iconic style depicted in 'Mad Men' is unquestionably a character in
the show, and the Banana Republic promotion is testament to the broad influence the series has had on the world of fashion design. The promotion leverages the strength of both brands to cross-promote the upcoming season and showcase two brands that share a strong passion for style," said Charlie Collier, president of AMC.

Are you a Mad Men wanna be? Attention males or females that adore advertising executive fashion in the 1960s. In conjunction with promoting  Mad Men in the 400 Banana Republic stores, a casting call site is up where fans can upload themselves in their best mad men attire. The will also be offering winners a chance for a walk on roll in the iconic show. One thing is true, 1960's fashion in the work place is in so stock up on pencil skirts, cardigans and kitten heels.
