Fashion Radar: Stay Minty Fresh

Stay minty fresh this spring with this huge trend! Pastels are back in for Spring 2012 but with a big focus on mint green. Its subtle and can be paired with nude, beige and white for a very crisp spring look. Rihanna while preforming on 106th and Park last week rocked this mint on mint outfit from Alexander Wang's 2012 Spring collection. You can break up the look with a peach heel or a big beige belt with a clasp. This lady like color is perfect with a braid and a soft clutch.
Designers such as Vera Wang also showed pieces in their spring 2012 collcetions showed this light green trend in pieces like this:
For a less subtle matchy- matchy approach, Marc Jacobs paired this minty color with a cement gray. I love this combo!

Fashion Radar: Sheer Genius

Loving this trend that is carrying on from winter to spring 2012. Sheer blouses, tops and dresses are a big trend. There is something romantic and feminine about the look that also incorporates other trends such as tunics and exaggerated hemlines.

I adore this navy sheer tunic on sale for $18 at Asos. This is perfect to pair over skinny jeans or leggings.

I love this sheer V neck 'T shirt' style blouse from Cusp. For $180 this is the most versatile sheer I can think of. Great with a tank and skinny jeans with a leather jacket or even paired under a suit with a meant-to-be-seen bra.
What a great buy from Mod Cloth for $37. I love this ballerina inspired tunic!

Fashion Radar: Gym Bags to Motivate You to the Gym

It's that time of year, when you ate one too many slices of pie, too many cookies and one to many sips of egg nog. The pounds are on and its time to sign up or 're visit' your work out routine or start one for that matter. If you are anything like Privy Doll it takes some real fashion motivation to get to the gym. First things first, you need a good gym bag. A gym bag that you will look at and think, I need to take you out. Voila! Fashion motivation to get to the gym! Here are my top picks for the most motivating -go-to - gym bags out there! Go get your Lift on!

The is a very cool, black/grey tone take on tie-dye from Puma for $50.
This is a very chic, black gym bag from Asos for $50 that is a little retro
I especially love this unisex gym bag by Jack Spade in Gray from Nordstrom for $295. The neon orange nylon lining makes it look sporty.
